Fossil Fact: My dad, for the past 40 years, audits big oil companies. Last month he was in Angola (Luanda) auditing Halliburton and Schlumberger and in 1986 he busted Exxon’s Alaskan office for a $55 million “oversight”. He received a bonus for his police work, much of which went straight to my liberal arts education. Thanks Exxon! Those bums at Exxonmobil just posted a monster quarterly.
