Over the last 17 years I’ve designed thousands of marks. Some are timeless. So forgive me, but I often jump start new work with older ideas. If it’s in my head already I have to.

Before starting a recent logo job for Proctor & Gamble I told the AD I already had some things. She scoffed “OK, so you’re just going to peal something off the bottom of your shoe, right?” Well, do you like Paul Simon? “Er...well...”. Well, Paul says sometimes there are diamonds on the soles of your shoes. Ends up she hates Paul Simon.
